Meet Jacquelyn Williams, Psy.D.
Dr. Jacquelyn Williams is a licensed clinical psychologist with a private practice in Westlake Village. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology at University of California, Davis and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University. Her professional interests involve the treatment of adolescents and adults with chronic mental illness (mood disorders, schizophrenia, and self-injurious behavior), cognitive behavioral therapy, crisis intervention, and animal-assisted therapy.
Apart from her clinical work in private practice, Dr. Williams is a director of a clinic at Patton State Hospital, a maximum security forensic hospital, where she provides therapeutic services to difficult to treat patients who have failed to respond to other treatments provided at the hospital.
She also works as Oversight Coordinator for Suicide and Homicide Prevention at Patton State Hospital where she consults with mental health providers regarding treatment plans for individuals with reoccurring suicide attempts and self-injurious behaviors.
